What We Do

Most people recognize freeze-dried candy as just a lighter, crunchier version of regular candy. The flavor is stronger, but since most candy is made with cheap, synthetic ingredients, those flavors also become sharper and more artificial tasting. After half a bag of this type of candy, your tongue feels coated with chemicals and the overwhelming sweetness becomes too much to handle. 

Our approach to Wazimo freeze-dried candy is totally different. Every batch starts with our own unique recipes using only natural ingredients. All of the fruits we use are organic, and we never use the artificial flavors, colors or preservatives used by the majority of other brands. After handmaking every piece of candy using old-school methods, they go into the freeze dryer to give them a futuristic look and feel, which is another way we set ourselves apart from the others. 

Like other freeze-dried candies, the texture of the Wazimo candy transforms in the freeze dryer from soft and chewy to crisp, airy and crunchy. But, unlike the others, our candy doesn't become rigid enough to cut your mouth upon impact.  Once you bite into a Wazimo candy, they melt in your mouth almost immediately, leaving nothing behind but pure, natural flavor. 

Speaking of flavor, that overwhelming chemical sweetness we mentioned earlier?  It's nowhere to be found. Instead, our all-natural flavors are heightened and brightened without becoming too sweet. It really is a whole new way to experience freeze-dried candy!
