Who We Are

Wazimo Candy is a small company of hardcore candy lovers who know that freeze-dried candy can be so much more than puffing up bags of peach rings and Skittles for a quick profit. Freeze-drying candy is about creating unique flavors, playing with textures  and using ingredients you just don't see in regular candies.  

Most people recognize freeze-dried candy as a light, airy, puffed-up version of mainstream candy. We always believed it could be so much more. A lot of the existing freeze-dried candy we tried had a great look and texture, but the taste just wasn't there. Freeze drying the candy elevated all of the flavors, but since many of those flavors are not natural, it made them all sharper and more artificial tasting. After half a bag of this type of candy, our tongues would usually feel coated with chemicals and the overwhelming sweetness became too much to handle.
